Just passed my CPJE and am finally a registered pharmacist in california!
Books used for CPJE: pharmacy charts 2011
(selling on ebay: eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices)
This is an excellent summary of each topic.
Also used RXprep 2011 edition
(selling on ebay: eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices)
This again is excellent both for the Naplex and the CPJE.
I used both these books as well as Weissman (contact me to buy) for the law section - memorized the dates from chapter 15 and did all the review questions.
Make sure you study all sections for the clinical part - including hospital sections that retail pharmacists may think about skipping! That means going through each chapter of rxprep. I found apha too dense and rxprep much better - after studying each chapter I used the Pharmacy Charts as a quick recap closer to the exam. For the Law section pay close attention to laws that are different to your own state - this is an area where it is easy to slip up on
