  1. Thanks for all your insight, Golden Rule. I thought your post about the first semester was very interesting; would you mind giving us your thoughts on the second semester, either now or when it's over?
  2. Yes, I'm curious, too. I mean, I suppose those in this thread had some favorable impressions overall, because you'd probably choose a different school otherwise, but any insights would be appreciated.
  3. I plan to attend math camp as well. I didn't attend the open house, though. Had other engagements at the time.
  4. Columbia - international, development, growth
  5. Gradcafe has one reject via e-mail from someone who apparently lives in the Bay Area.
  6. Congratulations, econchick! I'm very happy for you.
  7. Maybe they're offering you something different, Cph. I got the e-mail with all the addresses, as I reported in the Columbia decisions thread, but since I know that Yale did something similar awhile back, it didn't really faze me.
  8. Jody Johnson just sent out an e-mail to (if my FF extension works correctly) its 57 prospective fully-funded students, mentioning the value of full funding as reported by anukriti upthread. Open house is on March 29th, and they're willing to refund up to $350 of travel expenses as long as one matriculates.
  9. I see! Thank you very much for the information, Ricardinho.
  10. Is funding at UK universities limited to UK (or EU) citizens only?
  11. So we're expecting two letters? Thanks for the information, anukriti!
  12. Looks like you got into your real back-ups in January, then.
  13. Columbia hasn't actually mailed out the letters, though, has it? It's nice to have e-mail confirmation, but I would really like to get details via the official letter.
  14. Hasn't qfwfq also been accepted to all schools that he/she's heard from, so far? And the list includes Yale, Berkeley and Columbia, too. Great job!
