  2. I think it is required that you get both retail and hospital hours to be eligible for the test.It is included in the Law book.
  3. CVS intern pay differes in area, so is its competitor. In CA, CVS graduate intern pay is $27 while in another state, it is more than $40 per hour.
  4. I applied today online for Naplex only(I am in CA).I have not finished my 1500 hours yet.I am about to sumbit the application for California law test the end of Nov. Is there any chance I can get approved for Dec test? Any answer would be highly appreciated. Thank you

  7. Lately, I 've been floating around as graduate intern. People in different locations kept asking me which school did you gradute from? It is really a pain of *** to explain everytime about equivalent test. Any of you guys have good idea about this question? Thanks.
  8. Swan:The ca intern license will expire 2 years after the issue date.It normally takes 1 months know the number(for GC holder) or deficieny letter(for H-1 sponsor).I think lately the efficieny of CA board has been increased. You better give them a call or write to them for more accurate answers.
  9. I think you have the right intuition.Every pharmacist I've known told me pharmacy is going down.I want to remind everyone one of the articles in--- AMP is a joke.Nobody is laughing. It seems the value of pharmacist is not as precious as before, which you can tell from the decreasing reimbersement from third party.Independent pharmacy will be acquired much often by chain, which could lead to the decreasing value of pharmacist. So anyone who has not been in this area, think twice.
  10. I am in LA county. I am still looking for it.Why don't you try some independent. They are recruiting volunteer intern pharmacists. But of course, the first priority is to find a paid job.Good luck!
  11. woooo, that long? I thought I gonna receive the hard copy within a week. So can I start to work as intern pharmacist and get my hours counted right now? since I figure if my no has been posted online, it means it is valid, right?
  12. Hi, folks: I just found my intern No. online. But I am still waiting for the paper intern license. Does anyone have idea that how long can I expect my paper license after the No is valid online? Thank you PS: I am in California

  14. Can anyone tell me how long does it take to reveal the license number on california pharmacy board website? 60days? that is kinda too long.
  15. Yeah, I have a friend in NC. She starts hours after getting certificate.
  16. Folks, now I am quite confused. I emailed CA board yesterday and got the reply today. Here is their answer: The board does not care how the hours are earned, only that you have a valid permit when they are earned. After you have completed the 1500 intern hours you can apply to take the exams. So I think no matter how quickly you finish your hours, they will accept that. Will they delay the approvement of your eligibility to take NAPLEX and law test?I don't know.I will ask CA board later. Anyone got the answer from CA board, please reply. Thanks
  17. Hi,glad to hear the voice from someone who is in CA. Cactus124, did you receive the CA intern license? I remember that before in this board, someone said we ONLY can submit intern hours records as 40hours/week according to labor law. Even though you finished your hours within 6, 7 months, CA board won't let you take NAPLEX unless you wait for at least 9 months. Anyway, I don't know whether it is true or not.Better check it up.
  18. Hi, folks I submitted CA intern license at the beginning of April I know that you can check the number of license by the name of the applicant on www.pharmacy.ca.gov So far when I input my name I could not check since I figure out they did not finish my case.
