I have been admitted to GWU without funding. I can only finance the first year. Do you have any idea about the chances of getting funding in second semester or in the second year? I am looking forward to hearing your comments. I have also been admitted to Indiana without funding. I have contacted with one of the graduate students there. He said most of students admitted without funding could not get financial aid and dropped out in the second year.

I want to return my home country afterwards and work in the government sector. In my home country you can not apply to the government sector after 30 years of age.If I resign, I can not reenter again. The problem is if I dont get an unpaid leave, I can not go to that university. So what happens if I accept the offer with funding and decide not to go in June or July? I am sure they will offer the funding to someone else accepted. But do I have to pay anything then ? I am concerned because I can not afford to pay.

Guys, I need help. I have been offered admission with funding in a university in US. In my home country, I am working. I will be able to go there if I can have an unpaid leave of absence. I will learn in July if I can get such a status at my work.The university requires me to decide until April 15. What happens If I say I accept that offer and I don't go in August due to worrk conditions ? Please help me about it.Are there any obligations?

Schools especially on west side requires it in the application process. Most of them requests this form if you are offerred a place. You have to check with universities you apply.

Is there anyone applying to Harvard? Applicants are required to fill out the form statement of financial resources. It is in the online application. However instructions state that it should be mailed to GSAS. I am not sure. It should be enough to submit it online. Do I need to mail it?Offices are closed. So please help me.

Hello, One month ago I took GRE and scored 720 Quantitative. I was very concerned. I knew that this is not my potential.After one moth, I took GRE again and I scored 800 Quantitative. I just wanted to advice you that believe in yourself to get higher scores. For second time, I did not spend too much time in first 15 questions. I just solved the question and clicked next so that I was able to solve all the questions. ANother advice is be calm. Do not make yourself believe that this is hard exam and the question you see is a hard one. They are all average questions. Be confident that you can do all of them after practice.After studying various kinds of materials, I can say that only powerprep have questions similar to GRE. You can also count on Bigbook for practice and help you manage your time. If you have no time for studying, just use Powerprep. Be calm during the exam and think positively. I can not take GRE again. The deadlines are generally mid-December. Some have deadlines on January 1st. If I take GRE next week, that wont help my verbal scores.

I have used the option of pre-application to one of the universities ranking between 90 and 100. They have suggested me not apply by stating my GRE scores are not competitive. My GRe is score is Q770 and verbal 360. In the website they announce that the average of newcomers to their graduate progam is 760 on Q and 550 on Verbal. But my TOEfl is above 100. Does score on verbal affect my chances to be accepted that much? Do you think it is a general view of all universities? I though that TOEFL score would be sufficient up to now. I guess it is not. I can not take GRE again and it would not help also for taking it again in a short time since I can not memorize all the words in 5 or 6 days. I need your comments...
