  1. Deal all, I would like to know which are the best uk universities for a economics phd not considering LSE, Oxford, Cambridge and UCL. Is my rank (Warwick, Essex, York, Southampton and Nottingham) correct?
  2. Try to contact these guys, and then let me know if you get some information, because I am also interested in applying next year. Thanks. http://www.www.urch.com/forums/phd-economics/87073-ecares- good-preparation-top-30-phd-program-u-s.html
  3. I failed in my last GRE (720 Q) and I’m afraid of failing again next month. Do you a good economics PhD that doesn’t require it ? I know that in US you must submit it, but I am thinking in Europe as my second option. Thanks.

A) 64 B) 60 C) 81 D) 78 E) None of these 4 boys and 4 girls sit in a row at random. The probability that 4 girls sit together is A) 1/14 B) 1/12 C) 3/7 D) 9/13 E) 10/13 There is a polygon with 10 sides. A point is there in the middle of the polygon and all the vertices are joined with the point and therefore producing 10 triangles. In exactly how many ways can you select three triangles no two of which are adjacent. A) 112 B) 120 C) 468 D) 710 E) None of these
  5. When they ONLY say: X, Y are integers or X, Y are real numbers, Can X be = Y? Thanks.
  6. I am planning to do my PhD in Economics in USA. I not a genius so I will not apply for a top 10 . I am think in a top 150. Which of them are easy to be admitted? I don’t have a strong recommendation letter and I work in the Central Bank of my country (South America). Is this matter? I know that PhD is very hard, but I don’t want to study that much! I am doing a masters in economics and I am a little tired of proofs, Mas-Collel and so on.
