E is totally incorrect. 'Being' is generally a 'no no' on GMAT. Further, Paris does not need to modify or be modified by the previous sentence. The part before the comma in D is just stating a fact. Hope that clears it up.

The math questions that you will find on this forum should be good for practicing tough math problems. Apart from that, questions found at another forum gmatclub.com are really good as well. If you're in the mood of spending a few dollars, then GMATclub allows you to download hard question sets as well.

Congrats on the great score Ilano. Can you please share how much time you took between your first test and the second? After scoring 700+ in all practice tests, I scored a measly 620 on the real GMAT last week. I'm planning to take it again in 6 weeks time and hoping to improve my score just as you did.
