  1. Thanks GMAT bong. I'll plan to apply to Chicago FT and Berkeley part-time MBA. One other thing is that I'm going to be 31 in Jan. I'm already in the 130K base sal range in my job/level with 10-20% bonus structure. I dont want to get into IBanking or Consulting with crazy hours and stuff. I want to do either business/corporate strategy in a tech company or join the venture cap firm of a tech company. Worst case, if I dont get either of those jobs, I might end up in product management/marketing. Considering what I want to do, I'm not sure if FT MBA is worth for me beyond Top7. Looks like COlumbia is more geared towards feeder MBA jobs like IB and MC. So, Berkeley part-time would be a decent hedge if I dont get into FT at Chicago or Wharton. Any other comments on my chances at Wharton (I'll def try Chicago) plus other MBA suggestions given what I want to do. I'm also looking at Singapore as a possible destination after MBA (or 1-2 years after MBA). Would Insead or IMD be a good option ? What are my chances there ? Thanks a lot MBAMAMA.
  2. GMATBong, Just wanted to know if can help/consult w.r.t applications to these schools. Also, what about MIT ? Would I have any chance there or should I forget about it ? Thanks a lot MBA Hopeful.
  3. Hi Gmatbong/others, I need help on figuring out my chances at the Top 7 schools. Engineering/Software project lead at a top telecom company in the West Coast/US. Involved in product management along apart from being product architect. GMAT 680. MS from top US school with 4.0 GPA. 8 years work experience. promoted twice. Decent extra curriculars. Claassical musician, avid traveller, (visited more than 25 countries). Won 3 awards for excellence in my company. Waitlisted at Fullt time program at Berkeley/Haas for MBA this year. Got into UCLA part-time. Did not take it 'co didnt want to fly to LA every week. Anyways, now I'm planning to apply to Berkeley for part-time and wanted to know what m chances for full time admissions at Wharton, Kellogg and Chicago are, given that I was waitlsited at Haas and the fact that half of Bay are techies apply there. GMATbong and others do u help/consult with essay editing, positioning etc ? Thanks MBA hopeful.
