  1. israelecon, it seems you may have some words on this, i have a speed limit ticket which i didn't pay for, it was in california. and i don't know if it was a misdemeanor. do you think that may be a problem for the visa?
  2. oops, what's the choice (if exists) between F1 and J1 ? I mean what others do.
  3. I'll be there too, so that makes 9 for now? TM is a kind of preperation class for UVA.
  4. to rndmwlk: nope man, not that serious, but it's seen that one of the useful facets of this TM forum is the orientation it facilitates among people (or kind of people) who will be in same society afterwards. And I think sense of humor is amongst the most important ones, beacuse it's fundamental when sharing (or relation) is the matter. last but not least, sorry if I made you think it was rude what you said. It wasn't. Mine was just a response and in deed I'd be happy if I've contributed to your tease. ;)
  5. jeeves: it seems you don't give much probability of earning scholarship for next years , or not? what do you depend on? and I don't want to wait for next year in any case. I have offers from some other places (funding waitlisted). thx rcwlhk: thanks man, you showed me how important it is. I am lucky since 1) you didn't start from the ancient history of the money, 2) didn't judge me of thinking to spend it, 3) didn't tell your thievery mood evolution over time. thx
  6. hi everybody, how about accepting the unfunded offer from BU expecting financial support from the school for the following years? I heard that this is easy for some other places but what about BU? Is it too risky? appreciate any comment. Thx
  7. Hi everybody, I just wanted to ask those who might have any word ; Think that you got admission to some schools without funding. Is there any chance to obtain scholarship in following years in the case that you found a sponsor only for the 1st year? I appreciate any comment. I think this will be very useful for somebody around.
