Just e-mail them (marjorie) around this time. They are gonna reply promptly and tell you what your situation is. Having said so, NYU last year sent out its rejection on the same day, March 22nd. However, I have seen lots of rejections (10-20) from NYU last year on March 22nd. This year, I have seen rejections from NYU but they are less than 10 in total. I think they are sending out this year in bulks on several days.
If they are not doing so, you might be in their waiting list and get an offer on April 14th. I remember Kipfilet got a fellowship offer from them on April 14th (0ne day before the deadline) and accepted it right away. It would be great if someone gets such a offer this year, too.
