hi guys, i got accepted in the drexel's computer science, phd program with TA-ship of $1850 (for 9 months) and tuition waiver :) just interested to chek who else are with me . does anyone have a clue how many they are accepting this year? are they done? or still accepting ?

as far i know, most universities don't offer spring admission for international students. but there are, of course, exceptions.

Thank you all for ur reply. @MDK, it was my 2nd gre. so i emailed the univ and asked them if its ok to send my 1st gre paper score to complete my application and send 2nd score whenever its available. they said its ok and they'll consider my best score and i faxed my 1st score :(. @calmLogic, sorry actually they e-mailed me. @miketaken, i had my 1st gre on oct 29, 2007 and got my paper score on nov 23, 2007. i emailed to ets for my 2nd score and they replied that it was send on jan 3, 2008.

hello friends, i had my gre on dec 17,2007 but haven't received my paper score yet. now i've applied for phd in cs at u of arizona, tucson and they need copy of gre paper score. I sent my application package without it and ordered official score. Now, I got mail from U of A that without my gre score copy they will deny my files for being incomplete. What should i do??????

@MDK, my univ follows the standard cgpa system, 0-4.0 scale. my cgpa is 3.48 overall and 3.76 in last 2 terms.

i had another question what are my funding chances? i've heard that most people get fundings if they apply in systems or networking. is it true? can i get funded for graphics or database management?

oh missed the project part because of my job as a s/w engineer i've done some software projects on multimedia data transfer using mobile devices. but does work experiences really help in getting phd admission?

Only research experience is my undergrad thesis on paperless office. @vaasu, i've already applied at buffalo & drexel & prepared application for others, too. just having last minute doubts whether i'm doing it right or not :( because of my poor cgpa.

hello everyone, its my first mail in this forum. my gre score: 780 quant, 610 verbal toefl ibt : 99 undergrad cgpa: 73% from Bangladesh university of engr & tech. & last 2 term's cgpa 80% now i'm applying for phd in computer science in: 1. U of Florida 2. U of Arizona 3. U of virginia 4. Virginia tech 5. u of california, irvine 6. suny at buffalo 7. drexel university please evaluate my chances can you please suggest what other universities i should try?
