I used to put around 4hrs a day for 4-6 months. I didn't get many questions about oncology like 5. Focus on side effects.

Hello everyone, I am here today writing on this forum as the posts on this forum were the great help for me when i needed them. You know how we feel when we r frustrated , when we lose hope. We just need somebody to tell us that he/she went through the same experience and those are the tricks to pass. I took the NAPLEX 3 times .I failed the first two times and i finally did it and I passed the third time with a score 97. I am going to share how was the third experience for me and how I was prepared for it, considering that I am a mum for a 2 years old child. I studied from different resources as I learned that the more you are exposed to the same point form different aspects and the more it's to be expained in different ways ' the more you get to absorb the concepts and ideas and you are more comfortable. I used 1 Prontopass, 2. 5 practice cds with lots of questions(v.diverse) from pharmacy exams. 3. Lange Q&A 4. Kaplan 5. ASHP pharmprep( interactive case based board reviews) with cd 6. APHA complete review for pharmacy with cd 7. Pharmaceutical calculations By Lippincott and wilkins 8. Qbank 2200 questions I studied first the detailed review from APHA , then I got the prontopass to give me those organized notes and tricks. In the meantime I was solving the questions in the CDS (5 practice cds) along with the questions in Lange. I really liked the KAplan because the inforamtion were really summarized in a good explanatory manner.The tables, specifically, made it really easy to comapre drugs and vaccines. When I took the exam the first two times I felt really week answering the questions on the cases, So i solved this problem by buying the ASHP pharmprep which made me really comfortable answering the cases by knowing what is the information to look for exactly , and not wasting your time and reading most of the information on the cases. Additionally I needed to be prepared for any math questions by solving a lot and getting to be exposed to all different math ideas with their solution and this was the benefit of the book " Pharmaceutical calculations" . Finally , a month before my exam date i bought the 1 momth access to Qbank practice questions from rxprep online. That reallly made it and it helped alot with my confidence in my answers.. I also took the pre-naplex by the board 3 days before the test date.

I passed the fpgee and i am selling the books that helped me answer comfortably!! I was so happy that i got more than the required score by the Board of pharmacy. I studied from a couple of books: Comprehensive Pharmacy Review (sixth edition) volume I and II. Manan Shroff ( 500 calculation problems, Theory, 1000 Questions and their answers, Management) 5 cds contain fpgee tests for practice and making an estimate for your level.
