Thank you egy ))) I am sure you will get the required score. Actually it was my third trial, first time I scored not that good, I think 89, it was two years ago. But after that I started watching loads of movies and TVshows in english. Also I speak only in english for 1.5 years since I started my Master program, official language of which is english, maybe it helped a bit as well. It is good to try to find someone to talk to to improve your speaking skills and to watch some movies and maybe to read some articles on scientificamerican.com or smth like that to improve your vocabulary. 111/120 - December 11 Hey ))) Just received my TOEFL iBT scores for the 11th of December. 111/120 with 26 Reading / 29 Listening / 28 Speaking / 28 Writing I have not studied for the test. However 30 mins before the exam I looked through the templates for the speaking and reading parts that I found on YouTube, the evening before the exam. My reading score is not that good though, the problem was that I had 5 reading passages and I've got tired and distracted and I guess it affected my score. Anyways there are some links that helped me out: Writing section: Speaking section: I would also like to thank Mr. Renshaw and Joseph for their great videos that helped me a lot to score well on the test. For the speaking part my opinion is that one of the most important things to do in order to score well is to have a good template and to clearly answer the question when the time comes. I think because Germany has a high levele of academic education + in Heidelberg EMBL and DKFZ are located, where few research groups that I am interested in are lworking.. I wanted to apply to US but had no time to take GRE general =D ))

I am applying from Ukraine, so it will be a telephone interview I hope.. I have a lot of exams right now and it is not possible to fly there for me.. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEP !!!! I've got the score I needed for all my applications ))) It's not much ( 95 ) but I am extremely happy ! I don't have to take TOEFL anymore !!!:D Good luck to everyone !!

To Smart Spincer. Yes, I've taken GRE Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular biology subject test :grad:

First of all the exam was not hard.. In the reading part there were three texts one about anthropology and anoher two concerning biology. This was not hard to answer questions, cause I am biologist. So, then there was listening section I have had 9 tracks to listen, they were rather long and I got bored in the end :D .. Speking part.. In the test center where I passed the exam students were sitting very close to each other, like 40 cm. from each other. And the girl sitting next to me was not just speaking loud, while answering - she was yelling ! It distraxted me a lot since I could not concentrate on my questions.:( These questions were, the first one - Give an example of a volunteer work you participated in.. The second do you agree or disagree that musicians and artists play a big role in a society.. They were easy but I couldn't hear myself since she was screaming next to me.. Then the Writing part, it was the easiest for me. The integrated task was about microcredit system in banks and the lecture gave opposite opinion, so you' ve had to compare them. Independent task was - Do you agree or disagree that advertisement can cause the forming of bad eating habits ? .. It was also easy but I have spared much time on my body paragraphs and couldn't write a good conclusion..only one sentence.. :blush: .. So, The test was not so bad, we'll se the results in about three weeks. I wish good luck for all test takers ! If you need some help, you may contact me :p
