  1. The actual GRE is extremely tough as compared to all the practice tests in Princeton, GREbible, Arco, Kaplan, Cambridge, Nova, mygretutor, Barron and Powerprep. All the practice tests seem much easier than the actual test. My highest quantitative score was with GREbible (780) and my highest verbal score was with Cambridge (610). For quantitative section, I was at question 16 when I still had 2 minutes left. The first few questions were tough and took me much time. I am so disappointed with my scores and do not know whether I should still continue to my application. Would any above average schools take in someone with low scores like Q6XX, V3XX? I doubt so. Did ETS increase their standard recently? I really lost now...
  2. Compare A: 100,210 x 90,021 B: 100,021 x 90,210 How to compare?
  3. What is the fastest method to do this question? Question: How many 3-digit positive integers are odd and do not contain the digit “5”?

  14. thanks for sharing! I'm 2 weeks away from my test, but my verbal part still requires lots of improvement - have been getting 3xx-5xx. - Princeton. Q490/V330 (what a demoralizing 1st test!) - ETS powerprep1. Q550/V350 - GREbible. Q730/V440 (GREbible software has lots of errors) - Arco. Q620 - Kaplan. Q680/V300 (what a low verbal score!) - Cambridge. Q660/V610 - Nova. Q780/V340 (The math part is simply too easy) - mygretutor. Q560/V540 - Princeton. Q590/V510 - Kaplan. Q660/V310 - Arco. Q620/V480 - GREbible. Q780/V390 (lots of software bugs!) So far I've only covered Princeton verbal strategies. Hope to cover Barron's and Kaplan's verbal tips over the next 2 weeks and to retain all the new words I have covered! 30 new words a day! Have only covered 700++ words.... Anyway, I find that my scores are very inconsistent. All the best to myself! :) God bless me!
  15. anyone???? how to improve my verbal score in just 2 weeks?....
