Thanks a lot guys... I wanted to let you know that as per a book by Norman Lewis it is mentioned that "Who do you love?" is correct. I felt that it should have been whom like u guys but :hmm: -
1) No one loves you except I. 2)Please lay down 3)Who do you love? 4)Neither of these cars are worth the money. 5)Your words seem to infer that Jack is a liar. Please let me know what is wrong with the above mentioned sentences:idea:

Thanks a lot guys. Paul your explanation is perfect. The answer for 1) is Rs 360. There is 1 more solution for the same Let the value of each instalment be x (x/(1+(20/100)) + (x/(1+(20/100)))2 = 550 5x/6 + 25x/36 = 550 x=360 -

:hmm:This is where the problem is... The explanation for this problem is different. The answer is given as Rs 500 which is the annual installment. Here is the explanation Let the annual payment be Rs x. Then, (Amount of x for 3yrs) + Amount of x for 2 yrs) + Amount of x for 1 yr) + x = 2210 ( x + (x*7*3/100) + ( x + (x*7*2/100) + (x + (x*7*1/100) + x = 2210 442x= 2210 * 100 x= Rs 500 Please explain... I am loosing my head over this... If we talk about installments then always an equal amount is paid including the interest but here the scenario if different..
