  1. Thank you for your advice. I was not aware that Fulbright did not work with waitlists, I always had the impression that they did. If this indeed is the case it would indeed not be fair to other potential candidates. Anyway, I still haven't seen Sweeney Todd.
  2. I have already accepted a PhD position with full funding, so the (rejected) Fulbright scholarship would just be an (otherwise useless) accessory for my resume.
  3. I have applied for a Fulbright scholarship and have been invited for an interview. The scholarship has a 2 year return policy (J1 visa) that I strongly dislike. I think that $12000 is not worth the possibility of having to reject interesting future job offers in the U.S. But there is ofcourse a status aspect of having received a F- scholarship... So, what about this strategy; (1) go to the interview, (2) get the scholarship, (3) reject it, (4) mention rejected offer in my resume. What do you think? Is it acceptable to mention rejected offers in your resume?
  4. That is great! I am mainly interested in issues concerning curriculum, housing, funding and overall atmosphere in the program. I just PMed you.. JiJo
  5. I have been accepted for the Public Policy KSG program. I am very excited but not sure what to expect. Is there anyone around that can provide me with some inside info ??
