I have applied for a Fulbright scholarship and have been invited for an interview. The scholarship has a 2 year return policy (J1 visa) that I strongly dislike. I think that $12000 is not worth the possibility of having to reject interesting future job offers in the U.S. But there is ofcourse a status aspect of having received a F- scholarship...
So, what about this strategy; (1) go to the interview, (2) get the scholarship, (3) reject it, (4) mention rejected offer in my resume.
What do you think? Is it acceptable to mention rejected offers in your resume?
