  4. Thanks for your suggestions. italos, savingtheplanet and canuck. In india there are very few good schools to do PhD. I do accept that my economics background is not sufficient to pursue PhD but interest towards it is forcing me to apply. As your suggestions are valuable to me, so i am planning to apply for Masters programme in US. My final request is, Is it advisable to go for US or canadian masters or European Masters....?
  5. Hi thanks i appreciate for your response. I do agree with what you said.. Ya i had micro, macro as a combined paper in MBA and my grade in it is C or 7 and the topper got 9 or A.... third LOR is possible but is not from economics background...he is from finance background. Ya do accept that the getting into Columbia and UT Austin is difficult but applying just to test my luck... can u suggest me other schools where the admission is likely in my chosen univ or any other univ of ur choice.. thanks

  13. Hi i did MBA in India with a CGPA of 7.14 during 2006-08, and now currently working with a business research firm in india. My UnderGraduation is BSc Maths with percentage of 80.9%...my +2 is also maths, physics and chemistry with percentage 74.3%...my 10th percentage is 71%..... recommendations are from my university professors...one from my employer.....course work, did project on technical analysis on forex markets and portfolio management.... Can u plz tell me the likely universities...?
