    InternTexas

Hey Clautex, I am glad I am not the only one who got muddled by the way TSBP worded the instructions. It is a shame they expect other to excel in English while they have a work to do themselves. I do appreciate for your comments; they are helpful and comforting. I think you are in a good position as you are still waiting for your FPGEC. I got mine in July; this makes me to be outside the three month time limit that they have put which allows me to do my internship whiling processing NAPLEX and MPJE. I think if you haven’t written and passed those two exams and if you have gone passed over three month since you were issued FPGEC, you will have to wait till you pass the exams before you start your internship. I might be wrong but that is how I understood their instruction. If what I understood is right, I will not be able to do internship till I passed the two exams. I have been trying to contact to no avail. If they had made their instruction clear, they would have saved loads of messages from being left on their phone. I hope things will work out all fine for you.

This is what I copied from Texas Board of Pharmacy website. It is vaguely written to me. Do you make a good sense out of it? Please write your understanding, particularly in relation to the 3 month period.Does the three month period start from the very day FPGEC certificate was issued? After an applicant has received full FPGEC Certification, the applicant may apply to take the NAPLEX and the MPJE in Texas. You may apply for extended internship immediately after you obtain FPGEC certification from NABP, if you have an application on file in Texas, to sit for the NAPLEX and MPJE. If the Board approves your internship, you may work an internship for only 3 months beginning with your FPGEC certification and ending 3 months later, if you have not passed both the NAPLEX and MPJE. In that case, your internship will stop, and commence again after passing both of these exams. If you have passed both of these examinations within that 3 month window, then your internship will continue for 2 years
  3. That is my question as well, has anyone gone through this?
  4. Exactly 11 days after I sent the fax.
  5. Exactly 11 days after I sent the fax.
  6. The problem is I am not in the States but Texas is where I want to move to? Does that mean I can't get licensed in Texas at all? If that is the case, it is very strange.
  7. I want to be clear with Texas state board of pharmacy requirement on Pharmacy interns. It says on the form that we would have to take NAPLEX within three months of FPGEC. What would happen if my FPFEC is older than 3 months and I want to apply for pharmacy intern in Texas? Will they not licence me?
  8. To Hancock: If your score changes, they will only refund you the fee you paid for rescoring not what you paid for the test. For CTM: If your score doesn’t change after two weeks, it is most likely that your score didn’t change at all. However, they will send you a letter and inform you the status of your rescoring. If it changes, they will tell you that they have made a change and they will mail the new score to the institution you have designated.
  9. Yes, after some time, in my case 11 days, if you check 'my scores' your new result will show up. If there is no change, it could mean, your score is probably the same even after rescoring. Good luck and don't get dispirited if it goes down. You got to keep trying till you get the required score
  10. Does anyone know a company who has an intern opening in North Texas? If you do, please let me know.
  11. R29, l26, S26,W27. I took this test before I recieved my rescoring result. I managed to get 27 on speaking. You can make it guys! Just don't give up!

    re : Texas MPJE

Hi there I have cleared TOEFL AND FPGE, do you have any suggestion which company is good for doing internship? Any reply is higly appreciated. Regards
  14. Hi everyone, I am applying to Texas Board as an Intern. I wonder if you can answer me these two questions. 1. I am not planning to take NAPLEX very soon but on the form it asks if I am intending to do say within 3 months of FPGEC. The other option is to confirm if I have passed all exams for Pharmacist licensure, do they mean intern licensure? What do I need to choose? 2. First, I am in the UK. Do they ask me for SS number for registration for intern?
