  4. first two questions are here, infact these are comparison sort of questions. If u are not able to get it clearly ,u can consult BB's test # 19. #1 Points P,R,and T lie on a straight line .The distance from P to R IS 21 ,and the distance from P to T is 9 One option is :The distance from R to T second option is:16 Above two options are required to be compared. Q#2 X is not equal to zero one ooption is:x second option is: -2x Above two options are required to be compared.

  6. oh! could be a very great idea, but, from where to know the information of the words which are most the part of GRE.Do you have some idea about it.
  7. Thanks for yours reply. But ,in antonyms, you can go for options and match with the given question, the problem resides that if you know the meaning of the options. I know that the words skills i have could just make me able to do two or three of the questions not more then these.Indeed,i want to score 95% in my GRE exam.I hope u'd understand my problem and would suggest something to achieve my goal.
  8. While doing GRE verbal section,i'm afraid that i'm not able to do antonyoms and analogies part of the verbal section only when i don't know the meaning of the words given.Though ,i go through Barron's words list ,till then ,its not easy to get the exact meaning of the word and then go further;which is not a difficult thing to go.i'm planning to appear in the exam within next couple of the months, but ,still confuse about this problem. Please, help me to find the solution.
  9. while searching for the funding for phd i came to know that university just pprovide you some part of the fee as fund.what about the rest of the fee like 40% fund ,50 % fund.

  14. u people got great scores and got admission though few but some of the universities applied. But,i haven't see any news of funding from any university in yours case.HOw to get the funding facility to bolster the higher education. what could be the way out.Indeed, these posts are quite helpful for me.Thanks for this effort.
  15. hi Erin its truly a great plateform to learn to share the problems, hopefully ,i'll contribute towards your's aim.
  16. It is necessary for everyone to read poetry, novel and mythology like imaginative literature. Imaginative literature like poetry, novel, and mythology must be read by every one .In my experience ,society ,not only directly influenced by literary views but are also affected greatly by them .Broadly speaking, literary ideas are the reflection of societical views ,vice versa. But, as per philosophical rule, quantitative changes finally would lead towards the changes of quality. Truly , same is true in this case. Specifically, if scientists does not lead by emotional feelings, they can behave like machines which could cause an infinite destruction .For example, if the invention of nuclear bomb is not guided by the thought that is endanger for humanity ,its usages can wipe out all creatures from the planet earth .On the other hand, cloning ,one of the greatest advancement in biogenetics ,in which a replica of human called as clone is created ,Indeed, this is a proudly stunning invention ,However, its ultimate results would be quite destructive. Only literary study can keep modern form of machine as human very much close to their humanity while considering feelings.

  20. Upward of a billion stars in our galaxy have burnt up their internal energy sources, and so can no longer produce the heat oa star needs to oppose the inward force of gravity. These stars ,of more then a few solar masses, evolve ,in general ,much more rapidly than does a star like the sun .Moreover,it is just these more massive stars whose collapse does not half at intermediate stages(that is,as while dwarfs or neutron stars).Instead, the collapse continues until a singularity(an infinitely dense concentration of matter ) is reached. It would be wonderful to observe a singularity and obtain direct evidence of the undoubtedly bizarre phenomenon that occur near one.Unfortunately in most cases a distant observer cannot see the singularity ;outgoing light rays are dragged back by gravity so forcefully that even if they could start out within a few kilometers of the singularity, they would end up in the singularity itself. Which of the following sentences would most probably follow the lst sentence of the passage? (A) Thus,a physicts interested in studying phenomenon a neat singularities would necessarily hope to find a singularity with a measurable gravitational field. (B) Accordingly, physicists to date have been unable to observe directly any singularity. © It is specifically this startling phenomenon that h as allowed us to codify the scent information currently available about singularities. (D) Moreover, the existence of thos extra-ordinary phenomenon is implied in the extensive reports of several physicists. (E) Although unanticipated ,phenomenon as these are consistent with the structure of a singularity.

  22. Many critics of Emily Bronet’snovel wuthering Heights see its second part as a counterpart that comments in, if it does not reverse, the first part, where a “romantic ” reading receives more confirmation.seeing the row parts as a while is encouraged by the novel’s sophisticated structure ,revealed in its complex use of narrators and time stiffs .Granted that the preence if these relements need not argue an authorial awarness of novelist construction comparable to that of henry James ,their presence does encourage attempts to unify the novel’s heterogeneous parts. However, any interpration that seeks to unify all of the novel’s diverse elements is bound to be somewhat unconvincing .This is not because such an interpretation necessarily stiffens into a thesis (although rigidity in any interpretation of this or of a ny novel is always a danger),butbecause of wuthering heights has recalcitrant elements of undeniable power that ,ultimately, resist inclusion in an all-encompassing interpretation. In this respect,Wuthering Heights shares a feature of Hemlet. The author of the passage would be most likely agree that an interpretation of a novel should: (A) not try to unite heterogeneous elements in the novel (B) not be inflexible in its treatment of the elements in te novel. © Not agree that the comoplex use of narrators or of time shifts indicates a sophisticated structure. (D) Concentrate on those recalcitrant elements of the novel that are outside the novel’s main structure. (E) Primarily consider those elements of novelistic construction of which the author of the novel was aware. The author of the passage suggests which of the following about Hamlet. I. Hamlet has usually attracted critical interpretations that tend to stiffen into theses. II. Hamlet has elements that are not amenable to an all-encommpassing critical interpretation. III. Hemlet is less open to an all-encompassing critical interpretation than is Wuthering Heights. IV. Hamlet has n ot received a critical interpretation that has been widely accepted by readers. (A) 1 only (B) 2 only © 1 and 4 only (D) 1,2,and 3 only.
