  1. soory guys..would be more careful
  2. these were the 31 ( somewhat around these) tests. But m sure they must be available on other sharing sites also....They were in pdf format (adobe). They were like complete gmat tests.37 quant and 41 english questions
  3. Hi guys.. Gave my test on 13th september. And seriously the date was not too lucky for me...managed just 680 with 50 in quant and just 32 in verbal. Though I scored a whopping 50 in quant but performed bad enough to score my lowest ever score in verbal. Quant was quite simple.Even I got 3-4 questions discussed in testmagics forums.I think they were from score top VIP sets. So, i can just advice u to take part in the forum discussions actively. Vebal also seemed simple. Got 4 Rcs...3 short one and 1 medium with mostly straightforward questions,Cr were striaght too. Simple weaken, asumption, complete the para.I even got 2 bold faced questions. SO ,I thought I must be doing well but I was wrong. Sc were a bit confusing but not too tough to handle.Inspite of all these,I screwed everything and still not able to figure out what went wrong. I guess One of those bad days. But it had to happened on D-day only.... My preperation was for 2 months.Just did OG 11. Rest was 1000 Sc,Rc,Cr...VIp sets .Participating in test magic forums was very beneficial. Now,m confused and kicking myself for just managing a score of 680 in the exam where I could have scored much more.I dunn know what to do next.
  4. i have smthng differnt....help me along... we dont cancel the y...take it comon ...we get y(x^-6x+9)=0 this gives either y=0 or x=3..... from st1.) x=-2...so x cannot be 3...which means y=0....and xy=0...so suff. from st2) again means x suff... so D it shud be....wats the O.A
  5. answer c.......... st1)2Ix-1I-Ix+1I critical points x=-1 and 1. for x for -1 for x>1...x=3..true st2) xnot equal to 3... so combining x=1\3
  6. 7) a........st1... n+1 divisible by 3..so n=2,5,8,11...... this gives 4+7n=18,39,60....remainder 0 in each case...... st2) insufficient ....n can have any value
  7. not sure about the 6....but think the answer shud be e.....since value of x is also required......
  8. 5) answer b......... st 1) multiples of 5=5,10,15....all gives differnt remainders with 6 st2)n is divided by 12...so it will be divided by 6...remainder=0
  9. 4) answer d....st 1...multiple of 6 will also be multiple of 3 so remainder wil be same as 2. st2) multiple of 15 will also be multiple of 3....so the no.that gives remaindr 2 when divided by 15 also gives 2 as the remainder when divided by 3...
  10. 3 ) e..st1) p+n=6,11,16....insuff. st2) p-n=4,7,10....insuff... multiply these two to get p^2-n^2.....multiplying any ttwo values from the above results in different remainder...... also can be done thru equation....p+n=5a+1..and so on
  11. 2. ans. d...st1. take multiples of 8....divide them by 4...remainder =1 ineach case... st2. p is odd ,since p is square of 2 integers...one will be even and other odd....now when we divide any even square by 4 v ll gt 0 remainder..and when divide odd square vll get 1 as remainder......so intoatal remainder=1.....try using some values.
  12. sorry guys i gave the defination of parabola wrong...but by knowing the corect figyre for the parabola y=x^2 we can solve this
  13. answer shud be e......the line L turns out to be paraleel to y axis.......and i think the equation y=x^2 is a parabola with focus at (0,0)... and facing upwards....so v cant know whether the line intersects it or not
  14. one more thing............is 0 considerd as even???
