That was my primary concern! As well as applying all over again this December, with no significant improvement in my profile. But TMers are saying UPF can be two years..? It looked a bet hectic compared to an EME.

Can I do two years at UPF?! This is the first time I'm hearing this! I'm not certain that I want to do macro, but the LSE EME has no Macro in it at all :rolleyes: I suppose on going onto a PhD, I'll be doing the vanilla Econ coursework later on anyway..

Hi, I just got a mail from UPF offering me admission to the Msc. Econ program. I have also got admission into the 2 yr EME program at LSE. I am confused as to which I should accept. My ultimate aim is a top Econ PhD. I come from a math background with no economics courses till date. Any suggestions, advice will be welcome.. Thanks!

I am fininshing my undergraduate degree in Mathematics. I have never heard abstract algebra in association with Finance, but Measure theory definitely. It's supposed to be very difficult and very powerful. Good luck! :)

I finally sent it. I put in 1st sept. 27 sept was 3 days before the term started. so I put in three days before this course started.. I put Bankside/Passfield/Carr-Saunders Canterbury/Nutford/Hughes-Parry as my options.

Miaataro, what dates did you put in for accomodation being required? My offer says I need to attend the introductory course starting 4th sept. I don't know if one can apply for some more days to settle in.
