hello everyone,
I was always a secret visitor of this website and I know how valuable is the advises of the people who take have gone through naplex experience .
when I had started I was very poor at any knowledge of naplex ..... I took 5 months 5 hrs. a day to prepare from the scratch .By gods grace I did it in my first attempt and would like to tell all the first timers that naplex is not impossible to achieve . Hard work with right material and right focus ..
the material that I used was mainly pronto-pass and rxprep...(please do not touch apha because its just an overkill).. I memorised all the pronto-pass material including the smaller topics ,went through rxprep several times(at-least 3 good readings). and did lots and lots of questions practice.(around 3000) pronto-pass last minute study has 1000qs and rxprep on-line has around 1500q;s ,chase naplex is a good source for q's (not only the free stuff but I also bought all the questions on-line)...And when I did all this i took pre-naplex and scored 100.....(pre-nap was easier than the real test but it is a good indicator )
for maths pronto-pass maths ,rxprep on-line maths q's and the 120 maths questions floating around are enough I guess.
during the test I did get a lot of maths but mostly simple dilution questions.. the other questions were pretty tough ... I was surprised to see no K type q's but they came up with something equally hard..there were fill in the blanks.(for maths) and almost all of the first half was profiles. then second half were direct qs but the maths came in the end (longer ones) so please start keeping an eye on the clock from the beginning of the test.
In the end I passed dint score 100 but who cares
But if somebody asks me to choose the best material I would say that the questions that I practised from every where I could get (on-line free practice questions exam-master,etc) helped me the most.one advice in the end please do not try to read too many things and end up in not remembering them in the exam .DO remember all that you have studied and try to stop where u cant remember any-more.
