  1. Hello, Just wanted to everyone know that I have a lot of knowledge about financial aid and college funding so, if you ever have any questions please feel free to ask them here. Cheers!
  2. I could recommend NextStudent.com. They offer a Scholarship Search Engine that houses more than 5.9 million scholarships valued at over $16 billion. Using the NextStudent database to find money for college is fast, completely private, and totally free of charge. They won't spam you or send you anything like most scholarship search engines. What I would recommend is after looking for scholarships if you need more money for college (which most of us still do) I would then recommend looking into a private student loan. Private student loans should only be taken out after you have filed for Federal college loans, scholarships and grants. Private student loans will help you fill in the gaps to pay for the additional college expenses we all have; room and board, books, food, etc. Hope that helps. Good luck in school!
  3. A lot of college campuses are experiencing problems with their financial aid programs which is all stemming from the College Costs Reduction Act passed by congress. Large lenders have backed out of the program leaving federal aid hard to find. Very unfortunate. I'd recommend looking into scholarships. Good luck!
  4. Great information. The NextStudent reference in the article mentioned has updated their database since this article was written. Right now it houses more than 5.9 million individually awarded scholarships valued at over $16 billion. The NextStudent Scholarship Search Engine has been around since 1991 and is still one of the largest scholarship databases out there.
