  1. From what I know Naplex score hold could be an indication that you have passed the exam this time around. Just send them evidence of books purchased and the date you gave your prenaplex that score . Also explain how many hours you put in this time versus how and why you coulodn't do it the last time. Hopefully this explaination should be good enough. If they need more evidence they might get back to you... Good luck! Dolly
  2. Thank you for your kind words. I really hope I passed. I did send them an explaination couple days back and am hoping they accept it. This wait is already kiiling me! Dolly. QUOTE=fpgeepharma;917077]I am not sure exactly. But I think you would have passed with higher score than before,May be it could be in 90-100's and if your previous score was in 40's-50's they would like to ask or may be you need to submit a written explanation the way you prepared and what resources you used,if you participated in any Live course I guess you must include that too.But I have a feeling you made it big this time,Congrats!
  3. I took my naplex for the second time on 8th August and just received a letter from nabp saying my score is withheld due to large varianceHas anyone had this problem before? Please let me know what I need to explain to them and documents I might need to provide. So for anyone who went thru this what was the score variance more than 20-30. I am freaking out as my previous naplex score was very low. Thanks for any advice and suggestions in advanceDolly

Does anyone know the number of Naplex attempts allowed by the state of Michigan?? Thank's Dolly
  5. I took it yesterday and received a single score as well. Kept wondering where the scale went...

    Naplex Score

Was wondering if Naplex failed attempts are taken into account if one wants to skip the remedial classes in one state and just apply to another state.. Thank you in advance for the info. Dolly
  7. Thank's Aidam for the heads up. So according to you we need to supplement the Rxprep math with some additional material. Other than the math portion is there anything missing? What important topics do you think are not included? Thanks again for your help.. Dolly
  8. Congratulations on your success. Hard work does pay off...
  9. Thank you all for responding. Happy pill 4U I do have the 2012 edition of Rxprep but the pronto I have is an older 2009 version.Hopefully that should be ok. I am not a recent graduate so maybe pronto might give me that added info that's missing in Rxprep. Thank's again. Dolly

    Rxprep QBank

Is anybody willing to share the access to the Rxprep Qbank??? If you have access for the next 3-4 months I am willing to join in. Alternatively I could buy the Qbank and then share access with about 2 other people. Thank's Dolly
  11. Thank you Shree for your input. I have heard that there are some chapters that you might have to do from APHA as they are not detailed enough in Rxprep. Dolly.
  12. I am a foreign pharmacist and was wondering if Rxprep alone is enough to pass Naplex. Any input from foreign graduates who are using Rxprep or have passed using it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Dolly

    Naplex Score

Thank you for your detailed explaination. Nothing on the NABP website suggests that it should matter how others do on the test. And I totally agree with you about moving on with our lives......we all deserve it.. Good luck!! Dolly. UOTE=pharmasister88;903329]I heard otherwise, that it is best to take it around June. That around 98% of test takers that time pass. Not that I think this is entirely true. Neither is the rumor that taking it with new grads make the test tougher and hence, gives you a lower score. That kind of scoring is PERCENTILE SCORING where, let's say, the top 1% of the population (of test takers) gets a score of 99+ or 100 the next 1% gets 99 score next 1% 98 and so forth and so on... Percentile could not possibly apply in the NAPLEX since percentile needs a popultaion (N) which NAPLEX essentially does not have since anyone eligible can take it anytime (so population is open = cannot be determined = practically infinite); therefore NAPLEX can't do percentile where they'll determine top 1%, next 1% etc... NAPLEX is SCALED SCORE which... honestly, I don't fully understand. Sorry. I just know I want to overcome this test and finally, God-willing, move on with my life as a licensed US Pharmacist! So let's go my co-pharmacists! Lets help one another see each other on the other side!

    Naplex Score

Just wanted to know if individual Naplex scores are affected by the performances of other canditates taking the test on the same day. Have read in this forum that Naplex is tougher and harder to pass in may/June with the fresh students than any other months. Well should not really matter if you have prepared well for the test but just wanted to make sure. It is a tough exam as it is don't want to make it double harder by choosing to answer it at the wrong time. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dolly
