  1. I finished with only a minute or two to spare. The result, nonetheless, was highly unexpected as I honestly thought that I did well. Thanks so much for responding, by the way...
  2. I took the GRE a week ago. I got a 750 on the math section which is pretty bad for me because I was hoping to reach for some top ten schools. The problem is that I don't know why I got such a low score. I took several timed practice tests and consistently scored 790-800 (more 800s than 790s). I practiced for hours every day for well over a month. I have straight A's in all of my math classes which include stat, linear algebra, and analysis so obviously math is generally a strong subject for me. I did all of the math problems and practice tests in the kaplan, barrons, and ets preparation books. I am considering taking the GRE again in two-three weeks in order to hopefully get a higher score...but is it even worth it? What more could I possibly do to prepare? If there is nothing more that I can do and I still got this score then should I try to retake it anyways on the off-chance that I "luck out" and for some reason wind up doing better? I am concerned because if I do not know where I went wrong last time, I won't be able to fix it. And if I can't, do I throw my fate to the winds and just try at the risk of getting a worse or similar score? I am so lost right now...:( Please help me. Thanks.. I posted this plea elsewhere so sorry for being redundant...I am hoping to get as many opinions as possible. Your help is greatly appreciated.
