I'll keep it as simple as possible.
I went through the same stage before my Real GMAT.Here are few strategies which worked for me.
After seeing your score, i feel your performance in Verbal is ok but Quant is all messed up. Altough There are N no. of books available, i feel doing OG thoroughly is a must.
Study suggestion for Quant.
1. Pick up a GMAT Nova GMAT prep book - very basic Quant. thorougly do it.
2. Complete OG11 First. to be frank i feel it's the bible. Do all the questions, do not time the questions and don't jump on to answers unless you are really exhausted. I beleive the difficulty level of OG11 question bank is in Order(Easy->Hard) ... so Pick first 25(say 1-25) then (75-100) and then 25 from the end ...and likewise. This will give you coverage across the problem set.
3. While doing OG wherever u feel, that you need conceptual help. visit some basic book [identify your weak area's].
4. For DS. Evavulate Each option independently. rather than trying to eliminate the options, i recommend you to solve the questions completely. and as i suggested, identify the weak area's.
5. Once you are done with OG11, start with OG10 ... the question bank is exhaustive.
Study suggestion for verbal
1. Pick up OG10 verbal. get the OG10Grid(XLs with filters for difficulty level, Topic etc). If you want i can send you the XLS.
a) for RC's do 3 RC/day - one from each topic. Don't time. make notes while reading the RC and then jump to Question later.
b)For CR- OG11 is the first book. i'll recommend. After that i guess kaplan and OG10 have got lot of good questions.
c)For SC - OG11 ...132 Questions...... the explanations are really good .... instead of trying to find out the right answer, try eliminating wrong answers with the help of various concepts. You'll automatically reach the correct answer. Manhattan SC is a good book. there are notes of Psahil and spidey available on internet(Quick tips for SC).
In general, participate on the forum as much as possible. Solving problems etc. Frankly TESTMAGIC ROCKS.
Take Mock tests time to time to evaluate your performance.
PS: I took the first GMATprep1 15 days before the exam and i got 490.(don't remember the exact sectional break up). A preperation of almost 3 months and I was devastated. finally got 690 (verbal -34 , Quant -49) in real GMAT. Not bad !!!!
Hope this helps
