  1. Hi smartestguy01, Thanks for your coming. Yes. Those school are great but I have to consider my chance and financial support. My profile is not good enough :D
  2. Hi Mr. Brownstone, Thanks a lot for your coming and your advice. As I understand, HEC Montreal & HEC Paris do not have any link. They just have an exchange program. I knew HEC Montreal when I read a research in my field and found many reputed professors here. Can you tell me more about the other schools you did apply? ... and what is your specialization/area in Management Science?
  3. Hi Mr. Brownstone, I did apply directly to the PhD fellowship in their website (the deadline was passed). You can check in the website regularly. About my application, I have an interview 2-3 weeks ago. I did contact the prof before applying the programme. I actually don't know much about the programme more than the details in the website. What is the programme/major you are looking for in NHH?
  4. ............................ there is no HEC Montreal in PhD rank in FT (Queens as well !?)
  5. Hi doctoraldude, Bloomsbury Thanks for your reply. Now I was accepted in HEC ... but awaiting for grant. :D

  7. Hi doctoraldude, Thanks for your reply :) Hi nzecon, thanks again for your advice Hi auditing, ... thanks for the info and good luck to you !!
  8. Hi nzecon, Thanks a lot. It's also helpful ! [clap]
  9. Hi portugabel, :D Thanks a lot for your advice. I am very appreciated! This info is very useful to me. Considering both your and Bloomsbury's suggestions. I think my choices are quite clear now. 1- HEC Montreal 2- UCLouvain (I ranked it higher than KULeuven because my advisor know a reputed Prof here) 3- KULeuven 3- (tied) AARHUS School of Business 5- Norwegian School of Economics Hi Bloomsbury, Thanks for your coming ! :D ............................................. For my choices, it will be very helpful if anyone can comment on living :) ... Thanks in advance for your kind advice !
  10. Hi Bloomsbury, The KU Leuven program is here FBE Faculty of Business and Economics KULeuven Homepage Thanks for your comment on HEC. I think I should rank UCLouvain & HEC Montreal on the top of my choices. For your question, my research interest is Management Science in Supply Chain management :D My previous study is Engineer not business field but I am working in Logistics company. I want to delve deeper into this field and it's nice to have knowledge business as well. So management school is a fit choice :grad:.
  11. Hi Bloomsbury, Thanks a lot for your advice. I agree that some other schools in Europe might be better than these but some of them do not have program that fit with my research interests :) Thanks for your rank as well. It is helpful to me. Do you have any clue with the Norwegian School of Economic and Business Administration (NHH) ? And regarding HEC Montreal, is it good if I aim to get a job somewhere in Europe? Thanks in advance !
  12. Hi nzecon, thanks for your suggestion. The result of econphd.net (all economics) ranking was put here. By the way, I am not sure to consider this rank because the rank of HEC Paris is very very low at 227th while this school has high reputation in Business area. 76 UC Louvain - Belgium 139 KU Leuven - Belgium 147 AARHUS School of Business - Denmark 156 Norwegian School of Economic and Business Administration 190 HEC Montreal - Canada (Not Europe http://www.www.urch.com/forums/../images/smilies/tongue.gif)
  13. Hi, :D I did apply PhD job to many schools in Europe. However, I cannot rank my choices bcoz I cannot find a good ranking source for European schools. Can you pls help me on this matter? Below is the list - Norwegian School of Economic and Business Administration - UC Louvain - Belgium (Business) - KU Leuven - Belgium (Econ) - AARHUS School of Business - Denmark - HEC Montreal - Canada (Not Europe :p) The field of my study is related to Management Science but considering all business fields is also very helpful. Comments on any aspects (such as campus/country) are highly welcome. Thank you so much for your advice !! PS. I was accepted in Tilburg but in MPhil with partial funding because my previous study does not fit the PhD. I already withdrew this choice. :(
  14. Hi truongdracula I think your essay is good. Your reasons are clear. I have some points below - a private transportations - the example that you said about 1 million should be changed ... may give a comparison of capability to serve people of each type - use 'and' for '&' ... and use ... 'or' for '/' This is just my comments. Hi nipureddy .... I think to write more 300 words ... around 350 words is better
