  1. Congratulations Rach. It's time to party. What a wonderful gift for the holiday season. Best wishes for your career.
  2. Hi Nutan.ch29 I am taking my NJ MPJE in Jan 09. I talked to a friend of mine who is a Pharmacist and she suggested reading Guide to Federal Pharmacy law by Reis and Hall (5th edition). Regarding the state laws, I am planning on calling NJ board on Dec 26th to find out about the material. I will let you know if I find out anything else.
  3. Hi All, I gave my Naplex on Dec 15th. I got my results today. I cleared it with a score of 101. I am very very happy. I am going to give NJ law in Jan 09. My exam questions covered all areas. I got 4-5 PK calculations and other general 10-12 calculations. Thanks for all the help from this forum. Thanks for the info I received from previous test takers who posted their expereience in this thread. I would like to sell my following Naplex material: 1) 7 PharmacyExam Test practice CDs - purchased Nov 2008. 2) Pharmacy Exam 1500 question and answer book - purchased end of Oct 2008. 3) Appleton Q&A (2000) - free if you buy 1 and 2. No markings are made in the text. Looks brand new as I used it only for two months. The price I am willing to sell is very reasonable. Please reply if you are interested.
  4. Hi Biomass NJ board is very fast and prompt. In my case, my application for internship was filed to the Board on May 18, 2008. I got reply and acceptance of my application and preceptor approval within three weeks (sometime in June 1st week). I finished my internhip on Aug 25, 2008 (as I did only 20 hrs a week). I filed my internship completion application to the board on Sep 18, 2008 and I got approval in less than 10 days. I got ATT on Oct 6, 2008. Hi bjkint I found my internship through my friend. They normally do not accept interns. Mine was an exception becoz I am a good friend. Good Luck.
  5. Hi Aracne I wish you the best for your results. Thank you for posting the details on your exam. I am planning to take mine on Dec 15th. Did you take pre-Naplex before Naplex? If yes, were the questions very similar to that in Naplex. I took pre-Naplex yesterday and got a score of 78. In hind sight, I feel that few questions needed common sense to answer. Also, how about others who took exam with you? Did they get same type of questions? Thanks,
  6. Hi I am not a pharmacist yet. But I have a plenty of experience in compounding. I used to reach dispensing and compounding labs to 5th year students in my grad school. Check out the web site. It has some good info and videos on compounding. Listing of Formulation Records Also, there is a professor by name Dr. Cutie in Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY. He offers hands on experience class on compounding once/twice a year. It costs around $450.00. I heard that his course is very useful as you get pleanty of tips and help to pass the exam.
  7. I heard that the NJ board sends a law book when you register for MPJE through NJ state. And that book is quiet sufficient to pass the exam. I am going to register in NJ for MPJE in late Dec.
  8. Yes, I believe you can take NJ MPJE before or on the same day of Naplex in NJ. I heard about this through me friend. Please call NJ board and confirm.
  9. Congratulations to hoyalawya. I can sense that you are so relieved. What type of questions did you get? How different was the type of questions asked - first time vs second time? How much does Prontopass cost? Are you planning on selling yours?

    pre-naplex

Hi Nutan I am new to this forum. I am planning to take my Naplex on Dec 15th. I got the Biopharm equations from the A & L Q&A book & CD in few questions. Also, you can check out the APhA book. I found out from someone who took Naplex before to cover all the chapters from APhA book. I am kind of saturated from studying. But I have 8 more chapters to finish from the book. What kind of questions did you get in your pre-naplex exam? Was the web site user friendly? 62 score is low. I think it clearly indicates improvement has to be made in studying. I am planning to take my pre-naplex during Thanksgiving break.
  11. Thanks djdevil for your tips. Hi Dregun08, I wish you pass with flying colors. What type of questions did you get? Any tips from your exam experience?
  12. Hi DJDevil Congratulations. What a great great score? I do not know anyone with such a high score. Can you share some tips and questions from your exam? Also how long did you study? I am taking exam on Dec 15th. Thanks a lot.
