Hi I got my fpgec certificate recently. When I applied to walgreens they told me I need to submit a copy of intern license. I would like to get an intern license from whichever the state, if it issue a intern license faster. Let me know, anybody have any idea about it? thanks trinidad:)

Hi guys, They have anounced about speaking ibt requirements, that is they are not going to reduce the score or they not going to accept alternate exam either like ielts or some other english exam, but they going to talk to ets about the conditions during the exam. Check the nabp website for details. I am done with this exam by luck. Not very happy news for those who still waiting to hear some good news. trinidad

About Us Meetings Newsletters Publications News/Press FAQ News Releases Previous Page NABP to Launch New Computerized FPGEE at April 2009 Administration 12/17/2008 As advancements in secure testing technology continue, the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy® (NABP®) is pleased to announce the launch of the new computerized Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination® (FPGEE®). Set to replace the paper-and-pencil examination, the first computerized administration of the FPGEE will be on April 14, 2009. The computerized FPGEE will continue to be administered one day in the spring and one day in the fall; however, instead of limiting the available testing locations to three sites, applicants will be able to choose from more than 200 Pearson VUE testing sites located within the continental United States. In addition, it is anticipated that applicants will be able to schedule their test sites electronically 48 to 72 hours after having been accepted to take the FPGEE. The FPGEE is the third computerized examination to be administered by NABP, after the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination® (NAPLEX®) and Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination® (MPJE®). NABP test vendor, Pearson VUE, will administer the computerized FPGEE as it does with the NAPLEX and the MPJE. Demonstrating a record of solid customer service combined with a secure and consistent test center network, Pearson VUE is committed to providing a reliable and professional testing environment for applicants on behalf of NABP. The FPGEE is one component of the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee™ (FPGEC®) certification process. In addition to passing the examination, FPGEC applicants must have their educational and licensure institutions submit documents that present their educational backgrounds and licensure and/or registration to practice pharmacy. Applicants must also pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language™ (TOEFL®) and the Test of Spoken English™ (TSE®), or the TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT). The FPGEC Certificate allows foreign graduates to partially fulfill eligibility requirements for licensure in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia where the certification is recognized. To prepare for the FPGEE, NABP recommends that applicants take the Pre-FPGEE®, the official FPGEE practice examination written and developed by NABP. hi drsnq, I had the similar experience when I attended the TOEFL in Aug.After I went there they said they had some technical problems and they were not able to give the test.After 3 weeks ETS contacted me through phone and they told me that I can reshedule for a later date or I can get the refund.I chose to get my money back as I already booked the test.What I suggest U is to better book a test as it takes 2-3 weeks time for them to contact u.(For me it took 3 weeks).

Hi I took my toefl exam on 12th december. It was horrible and terrific experience. I started taking my exam by 7:40 and it continued upto 2:30 pm. The internet connection was very slow. It took around 5hours and 15 min to complete reading and listening section. I had to wait atleast 1 minute before i presented a new question. The most horrible thing was, when i answering for listening, I had to wait again after i press the botton ok to click on confirm. i was so tired and i could nt concentrate anymore, while i was taking my speaking and writing sections. At 12.30 all other test takers finished their exam and gone but i was still working on my first part of the exam. Moreover, it was not the fist time it has happened to me. On August 16, when i went all the way to Miami from caribbean, they didnt give me test saying it have technical difficulties and then they returned my fee. Now you guys, probably know that, now ets started giving tse test. I had applied for the tse test to write in my home town. i took that test on October 12,2008. But ETS didnt give the results for that test saying it have technical difficulties. I sent a mail to ETS how important to me to take that exam and get results. After that I got mail from ETS saying they forwarded that message to local test administrator, after that no reply from them. This is rediculous from ETS. When they cant organize the tests properly . Why cant tell everybody, they are not upto the task. FRUSTRATED.
