Hello, I highly appreciate if someone esteem my essay. *********** Some people like to travel with a companion. Other people prefer to travel alone. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your choice. *********** Nowadays travelling is widespread among people of various age and social status. Some people like traveling by car so they are planning their trip entirely on their own, other people prefer to buy package tours in travel agencies and avoid any planning at all, and the others prefer hiking or cycling trips which makes possible to be close-to-nature benefits which are completely controversial. Another aspect of any way of travelling is companion. Indeed some people prefer travelling alone while the others can not stand loneliness. It is mostly physiological option of the person. While one person wants, for example, struggle with difficulties or just digress from people, the other one just need a companion to talk to. Being a person who prefers cycling trips, I would say that I find it boring to travel alone. Existence of companion need not only for communication and route discussing. It is possible to share duties with companion, for instance, while one is fixing tent, the other one cooking the meal. One could visit supermarket while the other is looking after bikes. Besides, I am aquatinted with cyclists that are traveling alone and they like it and I believe that they know a lot of reasons why traveling alone is better. Even though, I like to travel with companion. According to my opinion it is more interesting and exciting. ********* Any criticism and remarks are quite welcome. Best, Ruslan

Hello everybody. I would be glad if somebody esteemed my composition. Last time I posted my trials at the beginning of April. Unfortunately, the level of that works was not sufficient for the actual TWE test. I kept practising for a month and I want to hear objective opinion about whether I am ready to take 4 points at least. #38 Learning about the past has no value for those of us living in the present. Do you agree or disagree? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. To tell the truth I don’t think that the learning about the past has no value for those who living in the present, moreover I guess that this knowledge is very valuable. The history is a mirror of our past and no nation can exist without history. Try to imagine the nation, which has no history. I would rather say that such nation is “blind”. They have no knowledge about past, they do not know who they are, what from they are. They have no past mistakes to consider today and try to avoid in future. If we had such nation, they would live in anarchy, without any moral values. I feel terrible imagining such nation. We have to know a lot about our history to be proud of our forefathers. We all have our own history and I think we should serve this knowledge careful and piously. Passing our history from generation to generation is collecting the valuable knowledge. The deeper the history the more proud of us our followers. At the end of all it increases the excessiveness of society. If we want to have the high-educated society in the future, we should care about it now. Only in this case we will not feel us embarrassed for loosing our history. By the way, would you please check my last post in this forum (April, 1st) and give me a small report (two lines or so). I feel a bit uncomfortable persuading you to check my work, but I really have no professional tutor (it’s a problem in a small town, you know) to give me objective report. Hello! Would somebody esteem my composition? Unfortunately that is all what I can write for 30 minutes. I spend a lot of time to think about what I am going to write. # 54 Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? One should never judge a person by external appearances. Use specific reasons and details to support your answer. Frankly speaking I completely agree with statement that one should never judge a person by external appearance. You can’t say anything about person at first sight, moreover you can’t judge person. It’s impossible I think. You should know the person you are talking about much deeper to be sure that you really know him or her. According to my experience the first opinion about the person is erroneous in eight out of ten cases. We usually judge person by his clothes, manners and so on. But to know person well you should mix with him for a long time. As the consequence I don’t trust people till I know them well. I don’t show them my distrust, but simply don’t trust. Sometimes it helps to avoid some problems. Once I met person who introduced himself like an experienced specialist in computing. It was on my last job. He said that he was really professional and all. My chief asked me whether we could employ him. I answered him that we really need a specialist but we couldn’t employ him till we weren’t sure in him. I decided to ask him some simply question to be sure in his skills. That was a really simply question, but he didn’t answered. He asked me to clarify my question many times and then he told me that I was trying to stain his reputation and all. Anyway he didn’t answered, so we didn’t employ him. My advice if you really want to employ professional, just ask him some simply questions. It will show you the nature of your conversationalist. Thank you in advance Best Ruslan

Today you can’t imagine the life without the modern types of communication such as email, phone calls. We have to admit that we can hardly spend a day without any distance communication activities. For the last hundred years we become more dependent on long distance on-line communication because of our business and necessities requirement. But you should not forget that face-to-face communication still on the stage and at the some cases it’s more preferable to use it. Anyway I think that face-to-face communication is appropriate if you plan to meet with person who does not know you well, and in this case you are able to make an impression on him, it’s beneficial in some cases, though. Job interview is a significant example of such cases I am talking about. If you put me on a position to make a chose between face-to-face communication and any distance activities like mail or phone calls, I’d rather prefer speak to my job-interviewer staying in front of him. Letters of phone calls are not have such advantages. If you know person you want to speak quite well, it’s clear that you can use any communication activities you want. Sometimes long distance to your opponent gives you a restriction on face-to-face communication. If you need to speak to him or her face-to-face, videoconferencing is the best solution of such problem. In my opinion face-to-face communication will be taken a lead position among other types of communication.
