Hi lifeisgood, I don't have BigBook's quant sections, so I can't compare. Regarding the questions, I don't remember exactly what the questions are but I can tell that they are all different from last year (quantitative comparisons, problem solving, or data interpretation). It doesn't mean they are all difficult. What I mean is difficult, time-consuming, panic-trigger questions appear in high frequency. Back when I took it last year, there were, perhaps, 3 to 4 times I had to think about a quant questions. In my recollection this time, more than half of the times, I can't tell the answer just by reading the question the 1st time. If it helps, last year, my Quant score was 800.

For me, the verbal were similar to ETS's PowerPrep. I can not say if all the words come from Barron, simply because I don't know all of them. Unless your goal is 700+, I think Barron is more than sufficient. The RC was rather easy. I spent a lot of time on RC when I was preparing because it is where you make up for Analogies/Antonyms.

I finally gave my GRE last Wed. I am happy and quite surprised with the result. I am not a frequent poster but I did benefit a lot by reading. Thank you all very much. Verbal: Like most people, I used Barron. Just keep studying them. I did listen to the Barron Audio once when I was in a 16-hours flight. I am not sure how subconsciously it helps me, but I am pretty sure I didn't have 100% focus while listening. I printed all Barron's Flashcard and study as much as I could. Did all the Big Book. A week before the test, I read the NY Times everyday. Quant: It was not easy. I repeat, it was not easy. I don't know what ETS has decided to change in the Quant section on my test date, but comparing to any prep materials available, it is way more difficult and out of focus. I took GRE year ago, and this year, most of my quant questions are similar to their experimental section back then. Be careful. That's all. Hope it helps and best of luck to future takers :)

Here is my essay. With me, a house is very important, and a business as well. A house gives me shelters, a business help me earn money. However, if I have to choose between a house and a business, I would rather choose a business rather than a house. First of all, owning a business helps me a chance to challenge myself. As the matter of fact, starting a business is easy, but managing it and making it work well are another story.Having a business means I have to encounter with a lot of problems that can happen everytime. Some of them can make my business fail.Therefore, if I wants to maintain his business, I have to work hard.
