Hi All, Just finished my first attempt at the GMAT. I got a 610 - (V:34, M:40). Unfortunately I don't have the excuse that English is my second language. I've been studying for this test for about a year now. I've taken the Manhattan 9 week course, I took all 6 of the tests and the highest I scored was 650. Then I took the GMAT prep and couldn't seem to break the 610 mark. I've been pretty focused on Math because I naturally feel like this is my weak area. Although it looks like I'll need help in verbal too. Out of the blogs I've read so far, it looks like people who score 610 or so were those that scored much lower on Verbal. However, does anyone have advice for someone who scores about the same on both subject areas!? I'm not sure where to focus anymore. I'm thinking about getting a private tutor...any ideas? Thanks...
