  2. I now several people in the BU Masters program who originally applied for a PhD, so I believe you will be considered.
  3. I was wondering if you could help enlighten me on whether an MA at BU or an MSc at LSE, UPF or UCL is the better road towards a PhD. I've heard from some people that MSc's at European schools are more rigorous and could be a better starting point for a PhD. They said that taking an MA at BU would send a negative signal to PhD adcoms, taking into account that they offered me to be considered once they rejected me from the PhD program. Moreover, they said that the MA at BU was rather directed at those people that did not take Economics as an undergrad. What is your collective wisdom????
