  1. If it was nt mentioned that x is negative as a part of the question, then I guess the answer should be D. Statement 1, tells that the absolete value of x > 3 Statement 2, tells that x is negative Hence it should be C
  2. What can be the choice of answer if the question is to be interpreted as to find the value of v^cube - k^cube (v-k)^3 = v^3 - k^3 -3vk(v-k) hence v^3 - k^3= (v-k)^3 + 3vk(v-k) ==> Ans: E Please lemme know of any other approach...
  3. Let unit digit be x ; using option(A) the number n = x*ix, thus the number n is divisible by x, xix, ix and 1, thus it is cannot be a prime number. It is composite always! With (B), nothing can be concluded. Eg, 22(Composite), 23(Prime) Hence A!
  4. Good one to bring in an alternate thought process...I never thought in an aspect that the symbol "square" will refer to modulus. I was substituting it for a variable and hence ended up with option E. Thanks!
  5. I am not all that confident when it comes to RC and I am working hard to beat it the best I can. I spend quite a lot of time reading the RC passage(s),because of which I end up timeless for other set of verbal questions. This finally turned up to be a vast demotivation for my verbal appearance. I am working on improvising my RC statistics and I came through the following thread: http://www.www.urch.com/forums/gmat-reading-comprehension/12306-how-improve-your-reading-comprehension-skills.html Which has a list of docs which were greatly appreciated in the thread, but unfortunately I was unable to download them. Here I am to seek help in downloading these documents. Please let me know if you can help my by downloading these docs and email me or suggest me a workaround that I can acquire them myself. Regards, Naresh
