Hi I am new to this forum. I have read many posts by other people and found that people are very knowledgeable and helpful here. I would really appreciate if you could help me on my application decisions.
I majored in Computer Engineering at a top 3 Canadian school in undergrad. My overall GPA is 3.55. I took ten math/stat courses (covered calculus, multivariable calculus, linear algebra, ordinary and partial differential equations, Fourier, Laplace transforms, probability, statistics, stochastic, etc). My GPA for those ten math/stat courses is 3.85.
My GRE Verbal is 670, Quantitative is 800.
I got a Master in Finance at a top 3 Canadian school with overall GPA of 3.8. I spent one summer as a research assistant. I passed the CFA level 1 exam.
Assuming I have very good SOP and LORs, is my academic background competitive for any of the top 10 phd business schools in the US? If I apply to all top 10 schools, how are my chances of getting accepted by at least one school (very good, 50/50, not good)?
Thanks for your help.
