  1. You could try the online resources like Number2.com and kinda treat it like a game. Try and make things like flashcards and come up with weird definitions to remember meanings of big words. Also, you could try and get somebody else who's giving GRE as well and can practise with that person. The idea is to know the strategy to crack the questions. I bet you have the manuals like Princeton Review and Barons. Just understand how to crack the questions. A tutorial service could help you as well, if you prefer to learn in a group. You would be forced to practise in case you have others competing with you in a classroom.
  2. So did you actually get through? Your valuable experience could make others learn.
  3. There's just another thing. The Council for Graduate Schools has a Resolution Regarding Graduate Scholars, Fellows, Trainees and Assists which states that once you have got an offer and accepted in on or after April 15th, 2010 (and not rejected it by April 15, 2010), you will have to get a written release from your school from which you have your acceptance before being issued an I-20 (accepting an offer) from another school. This is something which I just came across, in the offer letter package. I have a similar problem where I have accepted another school's I-20 and a better school comes along and provides me with an offer, but I can't accept it because of this clause. I am waiting for my previous school to respond. I'm aiming for Fall 2010.
