  1. Please anyone...give me any information you can about the GRE
  2. I'm taking the GRE and I need all the information I can get about the test... -What is on it... -How should I study... -What should I study... -etc... Please any information will help...I know 100% nothing about the test, I'm going to starting learning about it right after I hit the "Post New Topic" button...
  3. Thanks Ursula for the post... I spent about 3 hours today at the library working out of the [tooltip=Official Guide]OG[/tooltip] (Quan. section)...I did pretty good...and the questions I got wrong I made sure I knew what I did wrong befor doing another group of questions... I did about 8-13 questions before checking my answers...8-13 usually was how many was on a page...then I checked my answers before going to the next page... sounds like a good way to start?...should I do more questions before checking answers, or is this a good start?
  4. When I took the Kaplan Dia-Test: I scored a 540...this score was the very first thing I did before I started studying for the first time I took the GMAT exam. After 2-3 months of studying on and off (not very consistent, and didn't look at as much information at all)...I took only one other practice exam and that was 2 days before the actual exam...I don't remember the score... then I took the GMAT exam...so...I just now decided to dig up my scores and I found a 360 q(25) v(15) I was literally sweating the entire exam, mainly because I know that I'm not a great test taker and this is something that is really important to me... ...I hope this little bit of back ground can help others give me more advice, Thanks... PS...don't think of me as being too helpless, I have a good GPA and majoring in MIS...I know what I did wrong and plan on making a huge improvement on my score...I'm just looking for others to help me even more...
  5. Well...I actually have as much time as I want, for the most part... I just wanted to take the GMAT again fairly soon so I can apply to schools. If you think that there are better ways to review that might take more time, please tell me... There is a GMAT test area about 2 miles from where I live and I can sign up for the exam anytime I want, even if its only a few days in advance... So please give any help you can!!
  6. Also...I have the Kaplan book w/ the CD... I only used Kaplan book and software for the first exam, and it didn't seem to be the best way to go about the GMAT...
  7. I took the GMAT the first time and got about a 400...but I didn't know about the [tooltip=Official Guide]OG[/tooltip] for this first exam... I have a few weeks before I take the GMAT again and I now have the [tooltip=Official Guide]OG[/tooltip] book. How should I go about studying for this exam, because I obviously did it wrong the first time... Should I just take a few hours a day and get through the OG?...or is there other material I should use? Please all and any help is a plus for me, I'm very worried about this exam... Thanks...
  8. Can you please send me the most recent version of the GMAT [tooltip=Official Guide]OG[/tooltip]. I did poorly on the GMAT, and I really need something to help my score. Thanks...
  9. I just took the GMAT, and I did very bad. I never thought I would have been able to get score this low. I was wondering if anyone who has received a high score, or has been able to raise their score a lot can give me some info on how to go about the test when I take it the second time. Thanks... ps: as detailed as possible will get excelled...like --> what to do, time frame, or anything else
