am from aerospace. Really donno where am i headin towards. Guys is it worth goin to US gettin funded frm dad fr one year. Provided i suddenly wake up and study well and get good grades and ultimately a aid in second year. VT is amazin but will i get in? uhhh these things kick me and am crossed over wat to do next.

I called up VT and they said their decisions will be made my march end. Is there anyone who has got his decision?

Also wat is SEVIS fees and how much it is and how do u pay it. Is it necessary to pay it before attendin the visa interview?

hi guys, one more query. If you have more than one i-20 then how dya explain u selectin one univ over other and will consular ask why did u get two i -20? Is is it a wrong signal and a possible reason fr visa rejection or anything. Plz clarify

i juz called up univ of tenn who didn even have a proper appln statsu page. They juz informed me tta i did qualify the application requirements. Watttt??? Their requirement was 3/4 and this translates to 7.5/10 and my cgpa is 7.6 and also they have specified fr indian candidates its first class. This really sucked me ou and i didn even know wat to reply. i juz hung up and as such i prefer UB to Utenn so i decided to forget it. But its so stupid from their part. They didn even confirm receiving my appln materials. As they had specifically asked fr seventh semester marksheet i sent it late. Wateva i believe with this situation its 3 admits, 3 rejects fr me. I am expectin most probly ding frm vatech as well. So how good is UB fr studyin?

Actually i wanted to know can u get more than one i-20 from a college. In tat case shd i say i got two i -20 coz am goin to only get into one college so can i produce only tat i-20 and forget the rest. Or is it necessary to take all i-20's i have got to the visa office. I don understand this. Is acceptin in more than one college wrong?

also if i get a reject frm vatech as well then which is the better among the four left. Also shd i apply to univs like iowa, ncsu now? Coz i believe they are definitely better than those 4 and i mite have good chance there. wat ya guys think? Wanted to ask you guys , can i confirm my enrollment in more than one univ if i dont have aid in tat univ. Will tat mean i get more than one i-20 and then choose my university. Is tat fair or i shd decide by now itself. The reason being tat buffalo university are expectin me to reply by april 15 to confirm my enrollment. Can i say yes now and then decline? This is important and urgent and pls reply at the earliest. Is it wrong to have more than one i - 20. Also wanna add tat UTA have already posted my i-20 after receiving my financial documents.

i got some $40,000 in my dad's bank account and so far no financial aid decisions. So no idea on tat. But good aspect is all my 3 admits costs abt 40,000$ fr two years including the living costs so tat shdnt be a hindrance fr a visa. Lets see.

i juz received a reject from georgia as expected. I know it was expected but still its bit disappointing. The reason be ing low cgpa.

Wanna add one more admission decision has been made and the news is from buffalo university and happily its my 3rd admit.:tup: so tat makes it 3 admits one reject. waiting fr 3 more decisions.

Am intersted in CFD withiin aerospace field. I am presetny doin my project on "store seperation simulation" at Aeronautical development agency, bangalore. Hope it helps. And sorry fr feeling very anxious as i juz got bit tensed.

and i chose this with ofcourse as most of us do in childhood with a liking fr flying things. I knew teh scene isnt too encouraging but can u be more elaborate. And wat is a diff in doin in a top univ and in some middle tier univs? Also wat u consider prospects fr aerospace since u are in the field. And wat will be ur advice to me, a graduate aspirant if i give u two choices 1) Hope fr the best fr change and luck. 2) absolutely useless as there is virtually no chance. As i am inclined on gettin into the field and ofcourse if things don work out then am flexible enuf to change fields later. And did u mean to say gettin into boein, lockheed is very difficuly or its not so interestin and is very dull. Waitin fr ur comments

Actually i have already done my ug in aeronautics so am not exactly gettin into it. Do u mean to say aerospace field is down and out in US. I am bit worried and confused now, any comments or any advice??
