I got the same thing this time on 21 Aug. test. It was my second attempt. I got 2 extra reading passages in my first attempt. This time I got some extra listening passages. I found extra listening is much better than reading. I really got exhausted while reading, but listening seems to be easier. Anyway result will decide which one is better.

I wrote this 453 words essay in 30 min. Plz. rate it Do you agree or disagree, the online computer classes should replace the classroom learning. The advancement in the communication technology has made our life very comfortable and easier. For the last decades, the communication industry emphasizes more on the information exchange systems. However, these researches are not only in the field of mobile communication and media, but they also spread their wings in the field of internet. The internet and the teleconferencing play a pivotal role in the field of education. Now these days, the online computer classes have enhanced the standard of education throughout the world. I am totally agreed with the above statements. The distance learning and the online computer courses should definitely replace the classroom learning. My opinion is based on several reasons. The main problem with the class room courses is the actual presence of student in the class. For example, many students found it is difficult to attain the class on the scheduled time. Some student preferred to do part time job, because of illness, or any other engagements; students could not be able to attain the classes on time. In this way they may miss some important lectures and information taught in the class. The online courses, on the other had provided the information and lectures to the students according to their convenience. Students do not have to go anywhere to take the class. Apart from the actual presence, one more problem that students are facing in the classroom learning is the problem of repetition of the lecture. For example, if a student is not able to understand some part of the lecture in the class, he has to depend on the guesses and his own understanding. While on the other hand, the students could take online lectures any number of times. Even though, they could be able to save the lecture for future use. In this way the students might get benefited by the online course throughout his life. Also, these days the students are capable to sort out their doubts with the tutors through online conferencing. Various discussions could be possible with the help of video conferencing. In this way the students could share their ideas and also clear various queries during the courses. Some time, in the class room courses it is difficult for students to understand the diverse method of teaching of different teachers. While the online course follows a definite format of teaching, which is planned to be understandable to all students. On-line computer classes made it is possible to make availability of various prestigious and useful courses to the students globally. For example, a student from India could take the extensive TOEFL learning course running in America by joining the online class. Hello Sungandha, A book "Mastering skills for the toefl ibt" is also a good one. Kaplan, Longman, Barron, I practice from all the books. By reading these books came to know one thing, all the books are more or less same. You should practice all the four (RLSW) from the practice CD by the aforementioned authors. You could get all the stuff on net. Even all the books could be downloaded from net. Good Luck

Congrats! altar, Was it your first attempt? how much time did you take to complete Kaplan and Barron's complete test series. There are only 4 practice test in Kaplan. CD. did you prepare from the same or something else. I am going to face upcoming TOEFL on 21 Aug.

Ya! you were right.. my score is 78: (R=20 L=17 S=20 W= 21) I need minimum 80. thats not my required score :(

Hi, you could watch some English movies with subtitles. You could also watch some information based videos with subtitle available on youtube such as "HOME". When you listen and read simultaneously it will definitely understand the American Accents. Try to listen English songs too of course with subtitle. Try these lessons, Casual conversation, academic discussions, lectures / TOEFL , I hope it will help. Good Luck..

I want to know one thing that, we have to write more than 300 word in essay session. It is compulsory to give three reason to support the idea. I support my response with two reasons and I can complete my essay with introduction, two paragraph for two different reasons to support my response and last paragraph for conclusion. I complete all the aforementioned details in 350 to 370 words and get it done within the time limit. I am wondering, if it is compulsory to support response by three reasons as I saw in all the other sample essay. I can't complete my essay with three responses in 25 Min. writing. I am going to write my next TOEFL essay on upcoming 21 Aug. test.

It was my first attempt. I have the same story that I got 5 reading passages. I got surprised with the extra 40 min. reading season. I need my desired score, otherwise I'll lose my chance to get entered in university. It was my first attempt and after having 5 reading passages I really got mentally tired.
