  1. yes indeed. This one is from 1000 SC. So this means that there are no chances of getting erroneous OAs in the real GMAT???
  2. Moderators/experts...please help me out on this issue.
  3. 1. Senator Lasker has proposed legislation requiring that employers should retain all older workers indefinitely or show just cause for dismissal. (A) that employers should retain all older workers (B) that all older workers be retained by employers © the retaining by employers of all older workers (D) employers’ retention of all older workers (E) employers to retain all older workers Though this question has been discussed many times, i would like some help regarding the subjunctive mood. The rules for Subjunctive mood state the usage of "that". So i picked option (A). But the OA is (E). While i tried searching the forum for OA, the explanation i got was that " option (A) contains the word "Should" , which is redundant. Whereas the option (E) contains the infinitve "to", whcih is the correct format for a subjunctive mood. But IMO neither (A) nor (E) is the correct option. (A)- for it contains the redundant word "Should" (B)- for it does not contain the word "that" Suppose in the real GMAT situation i get a question of this kind where both the options are erroneous, how do i pick the best answer? Or more precisely... which answer choice is the least erroneous one?
