I would really appreciate if someone could help me with two statistics problems from Powerprerp. Taking GRE tomorrow!

1220 760 Math, 460 Verbal. I took the GRE today. The exam started with an English section, first question I answered correctly but then messed up the following question. I ended up guessing on the last four questions because lack of time- spend too much time on one reading comprehension. As for the math part, it went good except of a question or two that I had to guess on. By the way I didn't have an experimental section but had the option to try the optional section. I can't divulge any information because of the confidentiality agreement, but I would recommend taking the old GRE because it seems the new one will be much harder. Overall, I am pleased with the math and disappointed with the English. Here is a breakdown of my score on practice test Kaplan CAT 470 V, 740 Q Kaplan CAT 500 V 760 Q Kaplan CAT 500 V 720 Q 800 Score 480 V 640 Q 800 Score 630 V 690 Q Powerprep 400 V 700 Q (took it when I was sick) Powerprep 470 V 750 Q Overall, I think the most reflective tests are the powerprep especially for verbal. For Math, I recommend Kaplan CAT and 800 score as those are harder (at least grading wise) than the real tests. As for studies. For Math, I used NOVA,Barron and the GRE review material from ETS. For English, I studied words from Barron but only the first 20 words list. If I had studied more word lists and review more reading comprehension, I am sure my English score would be higher. Anyway, I do not recommended to buy Kaplan or princeton review material unless its for the tests, since Barron and NOVA are much better preparation material for anyone who has the basics down. Lastly, I want to thank the forum members for all your help and advice. By the way, does anyone know if Georgia Tech or any of the top school has a minimum verbal score for financial aid?

Did anyone ever tried their material/CAT? I am taking the GRE in 3 weeks and need to work on the statistics section and word problems. I saw Manhattan GRE are selling Word Translations GRE Strategy Guide that covers those topics and was wondering if its worth the $20.

I was wondering from your experience are the CAT test on 800score.com and Catprep a good representative of the real exam? Are they harder? I am considering buying them and wanted to know your inputs before I decide. Thanks in advance. gakgx6
