  1. No problem. Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck studying.
  2. I did not see many errors, if you like to indicate them that would be useful. I saw, at most, two errors. I created small videos to assist in using the program, but you should try and edit them yourself first.
  3. The Quiz files were also added to the creator's website. Here is a link: LS - Quiz Files English - It's listed in the languages section. I think that link is redirecting to some bible section.
  4. Here's the updated quiz files with a few things fixed. I found problems with D and Q. Didn't see anything else. If anyone finds problems just post to forum.
  5. Here's a simple tutorial showing you how to fix it if you come across a problem. Otherwise I will look through them all again soon as I get a little extra time.
  6. I find some errors time to time in the files. There is a error with the spacing in the D's. It throws the whole quiz out of whack saying that there are only 59 questions and 2/3 are screwed up. It is literally fixed by opening up the file in notepad and making sure that there is 4 spaces between each question. I have a corrected copy that I will post up soon enough.
  7. Seeing that i'm new as well, I am not certain, but I sent you a private message. For others who have android phones, there is a program called GRE/SAT Helper, which has the exact same words and definitions as flashcards. It's actually not bad, you can select the ones you are having trouble with and it will create a separate group. The program costs a few dollars.
  8. I fully believe you can learn 100 words in a hour if you use the quiz program I use to repetitively go through the 100. It only takes about 5-8 minutes to go through it once, then the time severely decreases each time after. Taking all the words you have significant trouble learning and create mnemonics for them. For example amenable begins with "amen" and when I think of amen I think of offering myself to god or willingness to answer to, or Assuage sounds like massage, which you decrease or lessen pain. Though you might be able to remember 100 words in a hour, I doubt anyone would be able to consistently continue to learn 100 words per hour.
  9. Same to you, keep me up-to-date on your progress. A friend and I use to have a lot of success with this program, and i'd be curious to see if others do as well.
  10. I thought you meant owner of the quiz program at first.. As far as strategy goes, I printed out a packet of the vocab so that I can highlight known words yellow and words i'm not familiar with green. I go through them when i'm riding on the bus. I keep this website open as well: Barron's GRE word list - A, but mainly i've just been going through the quizzes. The most useful thing I try to do is, master a quiz where I can get them all correct 1-2 times, then move on. Every time I return to quizzes another day or time, I retake the old quizzes very quickly. But i've just been going in order. I haven't finished all the A's yet though. I've just been worn out from work, so hopefully this weekend I can run through a ton of quizzes. I'll post my progress. But it usually only takes maybe 10-15 to really get a good general idea of each quiz before you can move on. Just make sure to rinse and repeat.
  11. I think it would have taken much longer but I managed to create a lot by doing the format setup in excel, then creating some macros to automatically add spacing between words, then I copied that to the text document. I am scheduled for Nov. 6th, which if I intend to just become familiar with these words I think is plenty of time. I don't intend to be able to use everything in a sentence or completely master them, but much better than guessing. If any has other words that they wish to be added as misc. I can make more at some point or another.
  12. I just added a quick video of quiz 3.4.3 to show how to open the file and create/edit quizzes.
  13. Quiz 3.4.3 saves the quiz files as a .qze file, which is easily opened in a text document. It's as though they are the same, just different extention. I zipped the files up specifically to bundle them and upload them onto this site. Not sure if I am answering your question correctly, but you need Quiz 3.4.3 to open the quizzes and take them. To clarify, the extension does not need to be changed, it just needs to be opened in the quiz program. Here is the link directly to the creator's site for it: LS - QUIZ English Home - Just click the download button on the left pane. You will see "QInstall.exe"
  14. Keep in mind these files are just text documents that would need to be opened in Quiz 3.4.3 to take full advantage of the quiz. It was easiest to create the files in text format first though, as opposed to creating them inside the program. If any has any success with these quizzes let me know. I'm curious if people benefit from them as much as I do. I've already went through 3 quizzes and mastered them in less than 20 minutes.
  15. I just uploaded quizzes for the Barron's list, which you might have already noticed. Try going through some of those too if you're doubting the amount you know. There are 4,500 vocab broken up into 60 question quizzes. Very easy to study and go through the words.
