could some1 tell me the universities that have good nanotechnology (solid state electronics) lab?

Could some1 tell me about the NanoFab lab (solid state electronics) in Arizona state university?

Could some1 please suggest the good universities in the U.S for getting masters degree specializing in semiconductor? I am trying to make a good list (really good uni and a few safe options) of colleges to send to. the only college i have found out till now is SUNY albany and stony brook. As these are in New york, i predict the living expenses will be quite high!. a few suggestions ppl?

Is SUNY stony brook a difficult college to get into for MS in electrical engineering (semiconductor research) ? an exceptionally high GRE score required?

i am planning to do masters in electrical engineering, specifically semiconductors. I dont know what is a way in which i can find a college that is good in teaching that specifically (please dont say ivy league colleges http://forum.thegradcafe.com/public/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.png ). I am trying to find colleges which are not very difficult to get in. Can any1 tell me the good colleges for that or any way to find the right college specifically in teaching semiconductors?

Virtual high-five!! :D i have not yet applied to but just sent my gre scores. i am pretty confused cauz the requirements on some sites are way too much. like iowa state uni ask for a minimum of 700 and succesful applicants have an average of 758 on the quant section...so i was wondering whether there was any use applying to them?

hey! first time here :D. i just gave my gre and got a score of 1250 (quant-680 verbal-570). pretty low yes..but what are my chances of getting into the following colleges for an electronics engineering program? oh and i got a 6.8 cgpa on a 10 point scale. Virginia Tech Iowa State University Ohio State University Louisiana State University If my chances are less could somebody recommend some where i would stand a chance? finally...is louisiana state uni a safe place for international students?
