  2. No kidding! I wonder what were the reasons behind such a silly rule. I wonder if grad schools are being more selective about MBA students.
  3. Thanks for your clarification. I thought you'd know. From now on, I'll have to be careful about budgetting test days. I wish I could take the test unlimitedly during a year, but I guess I am lucky that I can take the test five times anytime during the 12-month period compared to the old days when only paper tests were available twice a year.
  4. Hi, I just wanted to make sure of something. It says in the GRE test-taking policy: "You may take the General Test (computer-based and/or paper-based) only once per calendar month and no more than 5 times in any 12-month period. This applies even if you canceled your scores on a test taken previously." Suppose I took my first GRE in April this year and will be taking my fifth in December this year, do I have to wait until the new 12 month begins in May next year if I want to take the test after December? It seems obvious but i just want to be sure. I'd appreciate your feedback.
  5. Misha, you are right. It was a typo and thank you for pointing that out!

  12. iniquitous means vicious (that means having the nature or quality of vice or immorality) and nefarious. Being vicious or being nefarious is to have the quality of being wicked and unfaithful. Nefarious and vicious are actually synomyms of wicked and unjust. Hence faithful is the antonym of iniquitous.
  13. ETCH:CORROSIVE::glue:adhesive To etch means "to make a drawing, design on metal, glass by the action of an acid" Acid has the corrosive effect of rusting or the action of chemicals. So the bridge must be something like "X has the effect of Y" or "X has the function of Y".
