  1. Thoughts on the program? It looks similar in structure to Stanford's Economic Analysis and Policy PhD and Harvard's Business Economics program. My plan is to apply to apply to these as well as several traditional economics programs. However, does anyone have any thoughts generally about the program? The fact that funding is guaranteed would be nice (as well as having access to courses in the economics department). Thanks!
  2. Wharton Applied Economics: Tuition + health insurance + ~26K stipend for 4 years. Supposed to be pretty easy to get 5th year funding. Philly is pretty inexpensive, at least relative to NYC and Boston, so 26K is decent. Harvard Kennedy School (Public Policy PhD): Tuition (for 4 years) + health insurance + ~24K stipend for years 1-2. RA/TA/fellowships are available for years 3-4, but they do not guarantee funding up front.
