Hello TSE-Test takers... I had mine today (May 15th, Shoreline, WA) and would like to share the questions I got: I try to repeat them as close as possible: 1) Picture cartoon: Man sleeps, alarm rings 7 am, turns alarm off (pic 1) Phone rings, man wakes up, it is 8 am (pic 2) Gets dressed, runs out of the house (pic 3) Tries to catch the bus (pic 4) At work, boss is angry, it is 10 am (pic 5) Next morning, he wakes up aurrounded by 5 alarm clocks (pic 6) 2) Some employer wants their employees to come to work and leave work at a fixed time. Others they don´t care when they come, as long as they get their hours. What are the advantages of both? 3) Today communication by e-mail and text messages takes overhand. What effect does this have on the collegues "relationship" (they formulated it different..) ? 4)....????? SORRY- I just cannot remember.... 5) The graph shows the percetage of different television programs people watched between 1990 and 2005. 1990 it was 40% news, 10% sports, 25%comedy ,25% drama 2005 it is projected 20% news, 20% sport, 35% comedy, 25% drama 6) What do you think, which kind of program will be most popular in your country in a few years? 7) You got a new computer program at work. You need to finish important work, but you have trouble the new program. You know that your work collegue is familiar with this specific program. - tell him your situation - tell him how important the work is, for which you need the program for - ask him for help 8) You are responsible to organize business meetings in a hotel. A customers booked a room for a meeting. He now claims, after inspecting the room, that their are only chairs in the room. When he booked the room, he made it very clear, that he needs tables to write on and so on and so on....It is 7.30 am, the meeting starts at 8.30 am, please reply to the customer asap and leave him a voicemail in his room. 9) You have to organize a picnic: There is a list what has to be done: Choose a location expected costs choose food plan activities organize transportation 2 collegues talk about the upcoming picnic. So far, the location is chosen, the budget got proved, the transportation is organized. What still needs to be done: Figure out what kind of food you wanna order and which activities you are planning. Call your boss and tell him the situation. I hope I could help a bit! hanna
