Dear Bobsi, I wanted to ask, whether your raw scores after the test any close to the final official scores, I mean for Quantitative and verbal sections or were they the same as raw score ?? Thanks.

Hey gave my GRE today, the raw score is 152...V and 154....Q I do not understand how good or bad it is.Quant disappointed me I was expecting more because I was able to solve almost all of them and got stuck in just 2 of the questions rest of them were pretty straight. Please help me understand me scores. Also when do we get our scaled scores how much time does it take? Also I want to know how my official scores will look like? I mean will they be the same or will they be converted to the old pattern of scaling out of 800 ?

Hi , I gave my GRE in January 2007 and now I am planning to re appear in Dec.2011. I scored 1140 on my GRE and the new pattern is being scored on a range of 130-170 . How will ETS average both the scores or would it be advisable to appear in Feb 2012 ( old GRE score expires in Jan 2012 ,considering I gave my GRE in Jan 2007)? Any inputs are appreciated?

Hi rahman , other than the barrons verbal workbook , what other books are you using.There are so many books available that its a little confusing to choose from.I dont want to buy too many books , just stick to the basic books and study from them.What say?

Yes I am in the same boat, I did the entire word list before but unfortunately did not get a very good score so I am planning to reappear but now I am not sure of whether I should do the old word list again.This new format is a little confusing to me ...What say ?
