Hi, regarding reference letters for Phd programs in the US would it be better to get one from an MA program who doesn't know me very well or an Undergrad professor whom I am more comfortable with? Also, is it a good idea to get a letter from a place I interned at, I know it will be a good reference but I gather work experience doesn't count for much in Phd Economics. Thank you.
