  1. I have both, external fundings plus partial tuition from them
  2. I have the possibility to start a PhD in Economics at CGU... any opinion/recent experience? Edit: My main interest is in behavioral economics...
  3. Do you think a MA program in statistics or applied maths will improve my chances to get into a PhD program next year?
  4. And what about a master in applied maths/statistics? Thanks!
  5. But I am asking about USA; I am considering: - UC-Denver - UNC.Grensboro Any opinions? How good are they to get into a PhD program afterwards? Thanks!
  6. What about the MA in Economics and Applied Mathematics at University of Colorado at Denver? Thanks!
  7. Thanks, pavlemihajlovic. Which universities?
  8. Thank you so much... I am totally lost right now :S
  9. Is that a good a good one for my purposes?
  10. Hi guys; I am in a quite bad situation. I was rejected by almost all the universities I applied, even though I have strong fundings. I just talk with the foundation that pays for me my graduate studies, and they told me that they are willing to pay for me a MA in the US instead of the PhD; but my goal is to start the PhD as soon as possible. So my questions: 1. Which are good MA programs in the US? 2. Is there any MA that takes only 1 year? 3. (edited) And do you know if there is a MA program which encourage you to continue with a PhD afterwards in the same university? My research interests are: micro theory; incentives theory; decision theory; behavioral economics. Thanks in advance! This is really important for me!
  11. I just got official fall grades. Since I got great grades I was thinking to send them to the universities I am waiting for. Do you think it is a good sign, or sounds quite desesperated?
