  1. If you once failed a maths course but then you repeated it and passed with A+, when you calculate your ugpa should you add also that failed course? it says in duke university's website : "Courses in which failing grades were received must be included, however. Also, if you repeated a course, you must include both grades in your UGPA calculation." I mean is it same for all universities in the US? because it's not that way here. thank you
  2. Thanks it's good to hear that. Also what are the relevant courses (of course economics courses and also I know that maths is important) but is there any other specific ones? (we take sociology, political science, law this semester)(all of these are compulsory introductory lessons, I guess it's different than US, I'm from Turkey btw)
  3. No I mean that let's say I have a good GPA but I've passed some classes with really low marks like D; because I'm in trouble with my (Hum 101) Cultural Encounters lesson and I don't know will it have an effect particularly? Or will they look at my GPA only but not the grades of classes in particular? Thank you btw.
  4. Ok, so here I am, an Economics in the 1th grade. My future plan is academic career. I know general things about it but I have a question. Is it only important to have a high GPA or do they look at each lesson's grades when they consider you. I mean is it ok to have a GPA more than 3.5 but still you have some lessons passed with CC or DC? (like Humanities) (sorry for my poor english)
