Dear all Could you score this essay and give your comments to me. Thank you so much. Some people believe that the Earth is being harmed (damaged) by human activity. Others feel that human activity makes the Earth a better place to live. What is your opinion? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. Human beings in their everyday life try to make the earth a better place to live and make their lives more convenient and easy. There is no doubt that people have done many great inventions, have created many facilities that have made their lives more comfortable. But human activity also has its opposite effect and bad influence on the Earth .In my opinion mankind changes, harms and damages the world by their activities and the results are obvious and visible. Natural disasters undoubtedly have increased during the last decades. To begin with, from my perspective the most terrible effect is global warming which has been created and is being developed by people. It is the increasing of global temperature that causes many problems, such as melting of icecaps etc. Scientists suggest many options to prevent the greenhouse effect, but unfortunately people act in a different way. Another major effect of human actions involves forests and animals. Many forests around the world have been reduced and several hundreds of species have become extinct. Reasons are different, but the result is one-ecosystem is out of balance. Moreover dust of vehicles, construction work and factories seriously pollute our environment, harm ozone layer which protects people from dangerous ultra-violet rays. Thus, air, water and food that we use became toxic. This causes many health problems for people. Instead of preventing this and saving their own lives people are cutting trees and building new skyscrapers, producing new cars, building new factories, creating new nuclear weapons etc. To sum up, it is undeniable that human actions have improved their lives, but people must be more attentive and think about future and next generations because their attempt to make their lives better damage the earth.
